| Swans Destroy Demons - Round 8 - 29th July 2006 |
The show down between the Swans and the Demons looked like being one of the
best games of the year with both teams fielding full squads. The swans arrived with a huge list having their biggest numbers of the season (the President however was running late because he was busy blowing up his work).
From the first bounce the Swans showed their class with all the boys hitting the ground running, the boys played some inspirational football taking out the first quarter six goals to one.
The second quarter kicked off in much the same style with some strong running off the back flank from the pocket rocket sleepy Simon. Some strong leading and accurate kicking from key forwards Tugger and Fitzy propelled the side forward and with Adam 'Helzi' Hellner on the sideline notebook in hand (looking quite stern I might add) the Swans were looking good.
With the game well out of reach of the Demons by half time a number of changes were made. Slotting in the new awesome foursome, Brent, Sean, Dave, and Mick (Nigel) all worked hard tormenting the demons even further. Once again the Demons turned to thugery with Dom 'The ROCK' Hoban, getting king hit from behind.
Over all it was a great win for the mighty Swans with some great team football.
